Join FreePreventative maintenance work on the R.H. Johnson parking lot will affect access to areas throughout lower R.H. Johnson campus in July, so members and guests are advised to plan ahead. The closures will be short and coordinated to allow as much access as possible, but will impact: Auto Restoration Club, dog parks, tennis courts, walking track, mini golf, aquatics, bowling center, Lizard Acres, the Pavilion Grill, lawn bowls, the activities center and more. Some small asphalt repairs will begin on July 20, but the areas impacted by that work will be isolated. However, beginning July 28, seal coating and restriping will affect larger areas of the parking lot. Members should avoid the areas during the posted closures. The map available below shows what areas will be affected. Once restriping is complete each day, the impacted areas will be reopened as soon as possible, around 7 a.m. on the days shown. The Rec Centers appreciates members' patience and understanding as this work helps us prolong the life of our parking lots, saving us money in the long run.
