Natural Pages Reading Group - Our Living Ancestors

It's back for the season. The Natural Pages Reading Group. A partnership between the Discovery Center and Koller Library, where the focus will be on a different nature-based book each month, with discussions led by either Discovery Center or library staff. Books will be available for checkout at the library in the weeks prior to the meeting. The book we will discuss this month is Our Living Ancestors: The History and Ecology of Old-growth Forests in Wisconsin and Where to Find Them by John Bates. Our Living Ancestors is a remarkable blend of the beauty, history and ecology of Wisconsin s 16 million acres of forest. It is a captivating account of what our great forests were once like, and how they got where they are today. This event is free and open to the public.
