Youth Archery Deer Hunt Lottery Drawing

Delaware County Field and Stream will be opening its grounds to youth archery hunting this year. The Club will provide three ground blinds complete with two chairs. This hunt is for our youth members only. Archery equipment only we recommend crossbow but if the youth is efficient in compound it may be used. Orange must be worn to and from the blind and while tracking. Call the office to sign up or online here. This hunt is for youth members only. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. This will be a lottery system hunt. If drawn for a blind you will have Saturday and Sunday morning to hunt only. Must be out of the field when the club is open for shooting. That means Saturday at 9 am and Sunday by 12 pm. Trails to each blind will be marked. Orange spray paint will be on every tree around the blind. The lottery will be drawn on the 6 th of September. It will be a random drawing for the three blind locations. The weekends for the hunt are as follows September 19,20. September 26,27. October 3,4. October 10,11 October 17,18. October 24,25. October 31, November 1. November 7,8. November 14,15. November 21,22. November 28,29. December 5,6. December 12,13. December 26,27. January 2,3. January 9,10. January 16,17. January 23,24 Please let Jason Curry know at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make the hunt. Last year the blinds went unused more than I would have liked due to no shows. This hunt is the only chance to go out for some members. I would like them to be used as much as possible
