Ready, Set, School! Backpack & Supply Drive

JBSA School Liaisons Our Mission: Supporting Military-Connected Students Back-to-school season is an exciting time, but it can also bring financial stress. Let's come together as a community to ensure every military-connected student has the tools they need to succeed and feel confident on their first day! We are actively seeking donations to support JBSA families--specifically families experiencing financial hardships by providing fully stocked backpacks for the upcoming school year. Backpacks for Our Students! We want to make sure families in need are fully prepared for the upcoming school year. Please note that backpacks will be distributed to those members who have signed up only (this is not a first-come, first-served event). If you or someone you know meets the eligibility criteria below, here is how you can get registered: 1 - Reach out to the School Liaison Team with the name and contact information. 2 - Keep an eye out! The School Liaison will send out scheduled pickup times. 3 - Pick up your backpack during the week of August 3-7 (various dates/times available). Important: Please be able to provide the registered name at the time of pickup! For questions or to verify eligibility, contact the School Liaison Team today. How You Can Help: Please consider participating in our donation drive from July 6th through July 31st by following these three steps: 1 - Purchase A Backpack Pick out a new, sturdy backpack suitable for a student. 2 - Fill It With Supplies Stock the backpack with standard school essentials. (Tip: Please attach a small tag indicating if the supplies inside are best suited for Elementary (K-5) or Middle/High School (6-12) grades!) 3 - Drop It Off Bring your donated, filled backpack to one of our convenient JBSA collection points. E-6 / GS-9 / NF-3 and above: Personnel managing the costs of three (3) or more dependent children. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our JBSA military youth!
