Art Class: Colorful Chalk Pastel Landscapes

After exploring landscape paintings in the galleries, students will learn how artists use color, line, and texture to capture the beauty of the natural world. Using vibrant chalk pastels, students will create their own expressive landscapes featuring mountains, trees, skies, fields, or imaginative scenery while experimenting with blending and layering techniques. Note: Two members of the OKCMOA staff will be on-site throughout the duration of each class session. Authorized adults must check students in and out at the Theater Lobby desk.
