MOMS Welcome Back Coffee

MOMS is a Bible study for expectant moms, those who hope to become moms, and those whose youngest child is in the sixth grade or below. We have two options - one meeting every Wednesday morning and one meeting two Tuesday nights each month. A nursery for ages three and under and homeschool room/childcare for children ages twelve and under are available, but space is limited. This fall our study is Exodus: The Story of Rescue & Deliverance. The themes of the book of Exodus are seen throughout scripture: God's covenant, His faithfulness, His divine sovereignty, and His redemption through sacrifice, to name a few. Scholars tell us that the story of the exodus shapes our understanding of the rest of the bible. Join us for an in-depth study of chapters 1-18 of the Book of Exodus as we take a look at the familiar stories of the bondage of the people and their deliverer Moses. Israel's story is our story because the same God who delivered Israel from their slavery in Egypt is the One who delivers us from our bondage to the pharaohs of this world. Like the Israelites, we too are promised a new and better land to come where we will worship the great I AM and be in His presence forever.
