About This Event

Inspired by the artwork of Marina Kappos, create a layered and luminous composition with repeated forms, shifting imagery, and subtle vibrations to create a sense of movement and connection. Participants will explore themes of resonance, reflection, and interconnectedness through cut paper collage with intentional layering and visual rhythm. Creativity Exploration adult workshops promote the benefits of material exploration and the mind-to-body experience. Research suggests that experiencing art and creativity, even for a few minutes a day, has tangible effects on our mental and physical health (New York Times). In addition to producing a sense of well-being, sessions expand participants' perceptions of forms, while increasing brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation. The workshop is led by educator Lark Keeler, a specialist in mindfulness education. Extend your sense of well-being after the class by visiting our galleries and the newly redesigned Huizenga Park, located directly across Las Olas Blvd. Preregistration Required. Space is Limited.
