Memorial Service

Victor Contreras, age 71, of Bay County, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23rd, 2026, at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, on November 28th, 1954.With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Benitez Contreras on March 23rd, 2026. He was a man of strong faith and incredible kindness. He is an Elder holding the Melchizedek priesthood and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faced every challenge with courage and taught his family the importance of love and integrity. He was a true role model, with characteristics we will always look up to. Known for his steadfast dedication and quiet wisdom, he was a loving husband to Katrina Irene Contreras and a devoted father to Manuel Allen Contreras, Victor Contreras, Thomas Franklin Contreras, and Joshua Andrew Contreras. He was a grandfather to fourteen and a great-grandfather to two. He was a friend to all who knew him. He was a beacon of hope in his community. He was preceded in death by his Father Manuel Contreras, and Mother Mantiana Ramon Benitez.At his request, no funeral service will be held. Instead, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 27th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 6525 Lake Dr., Callaway, FL. 32404.“Rest in Peace, You will forever be missed, Dad.”
