Join FreeThursdays, September 17-November 12 | 12:30-3 pm No session on Thursday, October 15 Oklahoma City Museum of Art $5 per person | Designed for ages 55+ Research shows that engaging with the arts can support well-being, encourage lifelong learning, and foster meaningful social connections. This program invites participants aged 55 and up to explore new ideas, develop skills, and share experiences with one another through art. Each Creative Aging session begins with guided conversations in the galleries, where participants engage with works from the Museum's collection and loans from Art Bridges. These discussions inspire studio projects that build both technical skills and personal expression each week. Participants will grow creatively and socially, developing their own body of work while sharing ideas and experiences in a supportive, welcoming environment. The program begins with a casual brunch to meet fellow participants and concludes with a celebratory exhibition of participant artwork. Please note: To support both individual growth and group connection, participants are encouraged to attend each session.
