About this event
The purpose of Child Health Day is to help raise awareness and a commitment to teaching children and parents the benefits of good health. The day was proclaimed in 1928 to increase awareness of health issues facing children in the U.S., including healthy eating, fitness, child development, immunizations, and injury prevention.
