Mother Indicted After Son's Fatal Shooting

Erin Barker, mother of a 14-year-old boy accused of fatally shooting a 15-year-old girl, has been indicted on a charge of tampering with evidence. She will be arraigned on October 2. Police allege Barker returned the gun to the crime scene and failed to inform officers after her son admitted to the accidental shooting.
