Historical Marker Installation Ceremony to Honor Lynching Victims

The Alachua County Community Remembrance Project's Waldo-Hawthorne-Campville-Rochelle Subcommittee will host a historical marker installation ceremony. This event aims to commemorate victims of racial terror lynchings during the Jim Crow era. In partnership with Alachua County and the Equal Justice Initiative, it seeks to educate the community and foster healing.
